Germany refuses to halt Demjanjuk transfer

Currently, in the media, there has been stories about accountability for torture and violence conducted by Nazi Germany. Germany is pushing for the extradiction of war criminal Jon Demjanjuk, who is currently in the United States. He is charged with assisting in about 29,000 murders in a Polish concentration camp. If he ends up being extradited, he will be held accountable for his participation in these acts of violence and torture, which occurred over 60 years ago.
